“What social value in Myannar Buddhism is”

At the short time of life as a human being in the world, it is necessary to live usefully. In the life of human being that is said to be born in no easy way, a life should be in valuable way. Human beings must create their life of good and bad situations by themselves and they can raise their value of life by themselves too. Human being is not able to live alone but he has to live depending on his society harmoniously. In such a living, he should do for the purpose of himself and the others within no a limit of personal prosperity only. The life of human being is limited to three life times: first, second and third. In the first life time, the benefit of others can be done while studying for himself. In the second life time, his money should be made or his wealth should be sought for in the right but not the wrong way. In the third life time, a life should be useful while performing good deeds and meditating for the future life. In such a way, a human being should live in a balance of the benefit of himself and the others to be valuable life. Humam being should apply the essence and value of life by way of thinking and performing harmoniously for the benefit of himself and the others. In the schooling age for the human beings, learning should be earned in order to get a luzurious life in the future. Diligence for learning should be not extremely. And learning should be acquired with carefulness. Besides, only if one is a good follower in learning, one can be a good leader in the future. While learning by taking as an example of ‘ the behaviour of termites and bees’ , the gratitude of teachers should be remenbered. Only if filling with knowledge, one can get the life of being honorable among the crowd, the life just as a lion that absolutely overwhelms the wile beasts and the life of being a valuable and a good-heart filled with knowledge. A man filling with knowledge associates humbly just as ‘the shape of a ripe paddy plant’ . To pay respect the elders, to associate with the same age of the ones in equal terms and to be kind the younger ones are good traditin. If a good heart is added to a fullknowledge, it is like ‘the shape of putting sugar-cane liquid into the taste of sweetness’ . Such a man is the one who is successful in the activity of himself and the others in a balance way. While doing for the others he can get the benefit of himself too. One has to live the valuable life by learning in the first age and so also by making money in the second age. Although the pot of knowledge can not be stolen by the thieves, the properties can be related to the five enemies. Therefore, the properties should be earned in the righteous way. If one takes the properties from the others in the wrong way, that properties are hot like the state of the hot iron-cakes. Just as swallowing the hot iron-cakes, so also the properties in a state of anxiety is not useful. While seeking for wealth in the second age, the man of full knowledge can know the right and the wrong way analytically, think gain and loss and analyze the good and the bad way. Such a man is the one who realizes the life value of the second age. When seeking for wealth the one can not succeed in the long term if his mind is filled with the attitude of a Myanmar saying: ‘ It is enough for Nga Te if he is in a state of perfect health neglecting whether the others die or not’ . He is able to apply ‘carefulness as dyke’ , ‘knowledge as earth bunker’ and ‘intellingence as iron goad’ . Only the one who bears in mind the attitude: no hiding place for the bad deeds, existing no longer for the wrong deeds and making the one failure by dong the bad deeds and etc., has the real value of. In the time of ripe age which is the third time limited of a life, taking meditation is more valuable than learning and seeking for wealth. Only if living righteously, it will be excellent. Knowledge was achieved in the first age and in the second age living was in accord with the right way. In the third age it needs to die valuably. (ဖုိးနန္)
